Dave Friedman has already proven with the BE OD and the Dirty Shirley pedal that he can transplant the legendary sound of his high-end amps into an amp in a box pedal – the current Smallbox Overdrive pedal is the logical consequence. The pedal has an effective 3-band EQ with additional Presence Poti. On board is the Friedman typical Gain Structure switch, with which you can choose between classic crunch or high gain board. Special emphasis is placed on the pedal’s dynamics, the pedal responds very well to the volume pot of the guitar or the velocity. Another big hit from Dave Friedman!
