The blues guitarist Gregor Hilden is an Okko Diablo user of the first hour and uses this pedal in his numerous videos. As a small thank you, Okko has given him a signature version of the Diablo. The Okko Diablo pedal has the reputation of being one of the most versatile Overdrive pedals on the market – the GH Signature version can be a little more. With the Dyn controller, the internal voltage of the circuit is changed (from 6 – 18V max. ) – the higher the internal voltage, the higher the headroom and the dynamics, the lower voltage increases the pedal’s compression. Feed is responsible for the low frequencies of the input signal before the distortion stage, the body controller has been changed against the standard Diablo version – it adds deep mids in the first gain stage and allows for singing lead sounds. Level controls the output volume. The input sensitivity can be pre-selected in 3 steps, Mids changes the center range. The boost section is independent of the overdrive circuit and has separate boost and tone controls.
