With the XT series, string specialist D’Addario offers string sets with a new type of coating. The XTAPB1152 set 011-052 has a microscopically thin special coating (including the plain steel strings!! ), which makes them extremely durable. The base material of the strings is phosphor bronze wound on high carbon New York steel. The ball ends are attached using the ”Fusion Twist” technique, which guarantees a high tensile strength.
