Zoom has managed to fill this great multi-effect with 80 effects, five of which can be used simultaneously. The pedal is also equipped with an expression pedal that allows you to operate a wah effect, for instance, as well as the volume.

Practising with the Zoom B1Xon?

As a bass player, it’s great to be able to practise your playing with a drummer, but your neighbours might not appreciate the noise. To bypass that problem, Zoom has equipped the B1Xon with 68 drum patterns, offering you plenty of choice for a backing rhythm. You can even plug in a pair of headphones. The Zoom multi-effect pedal is also fitted with an AUX input, which enables you to connect a CD or MP3 player so you can play along with your favourite music. In short, the B1Xon allows you to properly prepare for your gigs without terrorising the neighbourhood.

Loop pedal

Another handy feature of the B1Xon effect pedal is its looper function, which enables you to record sequences of up to 30 seconds and allows for overdubbing. You can set the recording time manually or use a preset number of quarter notes, and starting and stopping loops is easy. The looper function is great if you want to expand on a certain lick, but is also a great tool for one-man bands.
