The Imperial amp has become a true Tone King classic – the original version of this amp saw the light of day 20 years ago. The current version, the Imperial MKII Head Black, is a 2-channel head that delivers the legendary sounds of Californian amps with the ”7.” Channel 1 covers the range from crystal-clear clean to dynamically distorted in the best Blackface style, while channel 2 really gets down to business with rich crunch. Also on board are the obligatory spring reverb and a classic BIAS tremolo. The 20 watts of output power can be reduced in 6 steps using the integrated Iron Man II power attenuator. In addition to its impressive sound, the amp is also a real eye-catcher.
