If you play with a double bass drum or use a double bass pedal, you can close the hi-hat cymbals by pressing the lever on the drop clutch. In the lowered position, the TAMA Sizzle Touch Drop Clutch lets you adjust the distance between the top and bottom cymbal to achieve the desired open sound. To resume normal function, press the hi-hat pedal down to secure the clutch.
