Thanks to the special mix of soft, trashy hihats and crashes in combination with a very versatile ride, this set offers the drummer a wide range of expressive possibilities. It includes the 15″ Dual Hihat, the 18″ Dual Crash, the 20″ Extra Thin Hammered Crash and the 21″ Polyphonic Ride – all from the Byzance series. The cymbals in this specially composed set were selected because they complement each other perfectly, both tonally and stylistically. The 15″ Dual Hihat has a very soft attack and an earthy basic character, thanks to the unusual hammering and the special twisting process. The 18″ Dual Crash offers a very explosive response with a trashy tone. The 20″ Extra Thin Hammered Crash also contributes to the versatility of the cymbal set with its trashy response but a clearer sustain. Thanks to the thin rim of the 21″ Polyphonic Ride, this cymbal can also be crashed very well. It also offers a clear attack and the large bell makes it very versatile. All cymbals in this set are hand-hammered in the Turkish tradition from B20 bronze.
