The Line 6 POD was an absolute sensation when it was introduced in 1998 – the handy, kidney-shaped preamp delivered sensationally authentic amp, speaker and effect simulations for its time. It was never easier to produce good guitar sound live and in the studio. Over the years, there have been several updates and new versions – POD GO represents the current state of POD Evolution. This clearly laid out floor unit offers the best sounds from the Line 6 Staple Helix, M-Series and Legacy pedals. Up to 6 amp and effect modelings can be run simultaneously, as with the Helix, snapshots can be programmed to allow for lag-free, lightning-fast program changes, an IR loader for up to 128 third-party IRs is also on board. The operation is similar to the Helix, even the color-coded footswitches have been adopted. With the integrated expression pedal, any parameter can be changed. If one pedal is not enough – no problem – POD GO offers 2 additional connections for additional expression pedals or foot switches. External effect pedals can be integrated via the FX Loop. With the free POD GO Edit app, programming your own sounds is a breeze.
