With the 5150 III 50W EL34 head, EVH is dedicated to sophisticated British rock. There are three channels available: the clean channel delivers classic, brilliant clean sounds with plenty of headroom, while the crunch and lead channels really get down to business—a dark, round distortion sound with enormous gain reserves. The clean channel has its own 3-band tone control, while the crunch and lead channels share a common 3-bank EQ. A serial FX loop, a headphone output, and a MIDI input round out the package.
