Les Paul ’58 Standard Reissue

The Les Paul Standards from 1958 to 1960 would later go down in history as the quintessential rock ’n’ roll guitars. Equipped with powerful PAF humbuckers and finished in sunburst for the first time, the originals from this period are now priceless. The Gibson Custom Shop is now recreating these instruments with impressive attention to detail, based on the originals. Since 2018, the Standard Reissues have adopted some features from the True Historic series, which is no longer part of the core range. The ’58 Reissues have a strong neck and are generally not spectacularly grained, but are built from the same select materials and with the same care as the ’59 and ’60 models.
