The Byzance Dual cymbals have quickly established themselves as a popular choice among top studio and touring drummers. Their versatility for musical expression also makes them very popular, which is why we decided to offer a complete set of these cymbals. This set includes the 14″ Dual Hi-Hat, the 16″ Dual Trash Crash, the 18″ Dual Crash and the 20″ Dual Crash-Ride – all from the Byzance series. Thanks to the extraordinary hammering and the special lathing process the 14″ Dual Hi-Hat has a very soft attack together with an earthy fundamental character. The 18″ Dual Crash offers a very explosive response with a trashy tone. The extremely fast response of the 16″ Dual Trash Crash, together with its complex fundamental character, provides effect sounds across every dynamic range. The 20″ Dual Crash-Ride has a precise attack which nevertheless sets the whole ride into vibration without becoming overly washed out. When crashed it develops a dark, trashier sound that remains well controlled. All cymbals in this set are hand-hammered from B20 bronze in the Turkish tradition.
