The ASM Hydrasynth Explorer features the eight-voice sound engine of the Hydrasynth Keyboard and the Hydrasynth Desktop. The compact 37-key keyboard offers the same polyphonic aftertouch as its larger siblings. Despite its compact dimensions, the ASM Hydrasynth Explorer delivers an excellent playing feel combined with outstanding expressiveness. The intuitively operable and extremely flexible sound engine impresses with WaveScan oscillators, Mutator waveshaping, a dual-filter section, a 32-slot modulation matrix and two insert plus two master effects. The package is rounded off by balanced audio outputs as well as USB-MIDI and full-size MIDI DIN connectors, removing the usual hassle with adapter cables.
