Description
Product information ”Moog Matriarch”
The Matriarch from Moog is a semi-modular, paraphonic analogue synthesizer based on Bob Moog’s classic synthesizer circuits. Visually the Matriarch convinces with its classic yet modern look, inspired by the intuitive colour scheme of the Moog Grandmother. It features four oscillators, a built-in and extensive 256-step sequencer and arpeggiator, stereo ladder filters and an analogue stereo delay. The 90 patch points allow a wide range of interesting sounds to be created. Experimentation is clearly the focus of the Matriarch. The analogue sound machine is rounded off by a full-size Fatar keyboard with 49 velocity-sensitive keys. Via MIDI the Matriarch can also be synchronised with other devices and therefore integrates perfectly into any setup.
The latest firmware v1.3.0 is now available for free download from the manufacturer’s website.
The update contains bug fixes, new features based on user requests, a patchbook to explore, tutorial videos and much more.
In addition to improvements to MIDI and CV functionality, Matriarch firmware v1.3.0 adds pitch wheel information to the KB CV output for new modulation possibilities and user-selectable velocity curves to enhance dynamic playing.
